Warning! (Not family friendly language.)

This seems way too easy. I'm gonna have to try it sometime.

That is really funny. Only my 13 y.o. cat hates loud kitchen noises, she would disappear the rest of the afternoon. Rolling Eyes

Great idea, but as professional as the video was in appearance, it surprises me that Saveur didn't encourage food prep/demo guy, to shy away from being crude. Maybe that was the hidden appeal and I just missed it? Thanks for the post camprn.

I'm scuppered not only do we only use one or two cloves at any one time , my left arm does not work too well Laughing
I don't have a lot of grip in either hand .. Happen I'd see the bowls go one way and the garlic another Laughing .. Back to the broad chefs knife & wallop the flat blade over a clove or two .

15 seconds in the microwave is supposed to work as well.

I definitely have to try that tonight! I love garlic, but hate peeling it.

Chopped garlic seems to last for a couple weeks in my fridge. I've never not eaten it longer than that. (I only know 2 weeks because I forgot some in there during a vacation...)

You're obviously NOT Italian!!! lol!

Seriously, though, if you put the peeled cloves in a glass jar and cover them w/olive oil they'll last a long time.
