Thanks guys & gals,
It looks like we've made it past the end of the world , unless I'm typing a real virtual reality post. Laughing

I have had a good day today .. It started off in the ladies hair salon this morning where I get my bald patch pampered every month ... All the lasses and customers knew as Alison had set me up .
I got a happy birthday singing chorus of six gals and three cheers plus a little card that said :-

" A little bird tells me that your 62 today " ..inside ... " So we shot the little bugger to stop him blabbing it all around ".

Four hours later with a new gal straight out the hair dressers charir on my arm & £80 out of pocket we went and purchased a 35 pound sack of dog food . Then made our way home to find a posties note through the letter box telling us to collect a packet from the local sorting office as it had to be signed for and no one was in when they tried to deliver it.

It was well worth the journey , for it contained a fair sized wodge of dosh and a thank you letter from a family friend for helping them out a while back ..

I also got several gardening related books as presents including the Mel's " ANSFG Answers " and James Wongs " Grow your own revolution ". I've now read both , found them very interesting and learnt several new things I'd not considered before as well as discovering that lots of my flowers out in the front beds are edible .

I am so sorry I missed your birthday Plantoid! I hope you had a great birthday! My youngest son's birthday is the 23rd and my second to the youngest son's birthday is the 25th! Crazy busy time. I read some of James Wongs' website that you had posted and it was very interesting! I love the mini cucumbers that he sells! They look so interesting to grow! Again I hope you had a great day!
