Hello from Jenkintown, Pa

Post  gjet72 on 2/7/2012, 7:23 am

I've been retired from the grounds mgt industry for 7 years now. My flower beds and window boxes are the pride of the neighborhood. Tried the SFG concept last year for the first time and I love it. Just ordered my seeds from Burpee. I have various lettuces growing under the lights in my basement. Can't wait to engage in garden talk with everyone.

Don't forget to check out the Mid-Atlantic Regional Forum when you have a chance. We try to cover things specific to our region.

I'll be harvesting lettuce from the window in the office tonight.

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Glad you had success with your first year of SFG.

Once you have been a member for 7 days, you will be able to post pictures and links. We certainly look forward to hearing and seeing photos of your past and future gardening adventures.

Enjoy those baby lettuces in the basement and keep us posted on your progress.
