Made these myself out of some spare plywood. I lay it on the square and poke my holes with the eraser end of a pencil then remove it and have my holes spaced. I saw where someone put short pegs on a board to punch the holes for the seeds like in the pictures that were posted above.

Hopefully it will make the grass bed invasion easier before earnest gardening here!
I hate to quote myself, but check out the link in my quote for the Garden Genie gloves!    I have enjoyed the comments, timeless really!  Lol!
Aren't these seeding thingies cool though?

We bought an entire, massive bundle of dowels... JUST before closing down our business years ago.  And we have a drill press and scrap plywood.  Guess what I'm making?

Thanks for the idea!

Neat gloves! I'd think the claws would be overkill for MM most of the time - but I've got my old-style SFG sections - and I'm trying to eradicate that grass that grows at the borders of the beds. The plants really want to grow there with the tasty MM in root-range - but mostly they are in dirt and hard to pull out. Since I don't want grass or weeds, I need something small/short that will creep like a weed without being a weed, and grow there as a placeholder of sorts. Someplace online suggested growing oregano and thyme at bed edges, and that seems to fit the bill. I just need to wait until I have space to start seedlings...I think the grow lights will be full up with everything that's queued up to be sown in the next few weeks.
