Hello from San Antonio Apartment Gardening!

Post  aptgardengirl on 4/2/2010, 8:50 pm

Hello to All! happy hi

Pics of my Apartment Garden:

I have planted, in 1-1x4: Spinach, Blackseed Simpson lettuce, Mixed Mesclun Greens, Scallions/Salad Bowl lettuce. 2nd 1x4: Alaskan Peas, Lemon Cukes, Green Beans, Sumpter Cukes. 1-2x4: Little Gem Romaine, Georgia Collards, Kale, Broccoli, Mixed Mini Bell's, Earligirl Tomato and Romaine.

In other containers I have planted Sweetie Tomatoes, Banana Peppers, Chili Peppers, Sweet Pimento Peppers, Strawberries, Edible Nastriums, Edible Marigolds, Regular Marigolds, Zinnia, (bought last year in April 09) Chapanel Grapes, Meyer Improved Lemon Tree and a Morro Blood Orange tree.

Trellis' were bought at a nursery and some were Augmented with additional lumber. I also have extra materials for the cukes if the get out of hand I purchases extra sticks and trellis netting and will change by trellis if needed for the 1x4 box by screwing in the new netted trellis' as needed.

...And yes my neighbors looked at my crazy when I was on my balcony with lumber and a drill...hee hee. More pics as progress comes

Your neighbours might look a bit askance right now, but just wait until you have enough produce to share! They will be impressed. Great going.
