Just putting this out there...

Post  Windsor.Parker on 2/29/2012, 6:14 am

because ANSFG and this forum have already, and will continue to help me turn my gardening around!
in advance.

For example, the "My SFG from Space" thread helped me to see my garden from a NEW perspective.

I saw many others coping successfully with gardening challenges like I'm trying to deal with.

So I've chosen the bed at #6 (pic below) for my TOP ANSFG priority!
Although it's furthest from my house (#1) and looks awful at ground level; it's in FULL Sun, has ready-made cyclone fence trellising and is a good short walk to boot.

So I removed 7"-8" of the old topsoil, installed "weedblock" and filled the 1' x 24' bed with MM. The grids will soon be completed, too!

So here's my plan, for your consideration, comments, and recommendations:

Wow, I'm a new gardener but I never thought about looking at my house from Google earth and seeing where to stick my beds. Great idea! Love the pics, can't wait to follow your progress.

That is a good idea and it certainly helps one clarify which way is north so you can make the best sun choices.

Czarina,
There's another thread with tons of SFGs from space.
Check it out.
