Rose Bushes

Can I plant new bare root bushes since they have quite long roots or is sfg only for short root plants?

If it was me, I would follow the planting directions that came with the plant. Exactly what kind of rose have you got?

Another sfg'er grows roses in a raised bed, I think. He has a video about all of his beds (including his flowers):
