Hello from Cincinnati!

Post  MamaO2012 on 3/19/2012, 12:15 pm

Hello everyone! I'm Katie, and I'm from about 30 miles east of Cincinnati in a town called Point Pleasant! My husband and I are new to square foot gardening this year, and really excited to get going! I'm so glad I found this forum - I know they'll be lots of good info here!

Welcome from central Ohio! You will find a lot of people in the Cinci area, so far I found a handful of people in the Columbus area. Best wishes!

I'm new to SFG too and from Canton, Ohio. Weathers a bit cooler here than Cinci but not much! Best of luck to you!

Welcome Katie and Kelli!

If you haven't had a chance to read the All New Square Foot Gardening book (2006), please try your best to get your hands on a copy. The forum is a fantastic place and I am so jealous of your area (tell you why in a second), but it's easier to follow if you've read the book... Smile

Now, why am I jealous of your area - because we have so darn many forum members in Ohio, particularly the Cincinnati area!! We call you the Cincinnati contingent! Smile You will find tons of support...I think someone (was it lisaphoto?) even started a facebook page for the Cincinnati gardeners. Smile

Keep us posted on your progress! We love pictures! Happy to have you here!
