can grapes grow in containers?

Post  walshevak on 3/23/2012, 6:50 pm

My back yard is huge, at least to me. I don't want to plant my grapes ALLLLL the way in the back, but much of my yard is a septic field that I don't want to dig in. Can grapes grow in a big tub, say a 1/2 whiskey barrel? I have a cattle panel I can stake up as a fence..
