Greetings from Unionville, CT

I'm glad to be a part of this forum. I need the support of my fellow gluttons for punishment. Over the past few years, my garden has been hit hard by deer, mice, children and other vermin, late blight, early blight, mid-season blight, quarter-past-three-in-the-afternooon blight, hail, falling trees, neglect, overwork, too much shade, too much sun, blossom end rot, absence of micro-nutrients, slugs and snails....and of course puppy dog tails. Regardless, I carry on, for there is nothing in this world like the flavor of vegetables plucked fresh from the garden.

I haven't been on here much recently, so imagine my reaction, seeing your post tonight. Shocked We're just about neighbors!
People are great on here; you can learn a lot (maybe even about quarter-past-three-in-the-afternooon blight--but don't hold me to it!) Wink
