Squash and cucumbers on a cattle panel arch?

Post  cheyannarach on 4/10/2012, 8:49 am

I would love to hear about anyone that has grew squash or cucumbers up an arch made from a cattle panel. I love the way this looks and think we are going to try. If you have any pictures I would love to see them!

While not exactly the same thing - here are some threads with pics (or links to pics) that might help while you are waiting... (Excited to see GWN's arch) Smile

Do you have much wind or hail?
I am really tempted to try this but we have gotten wicked bad hail last couple summers. Hail that smashed gardens into pulp. A friend found that having taller green manure crops pprotects the veggies underneath.
