After reading on the forum some I'm worried I won't have enough room for my summer squash?? Is it going to take over? The variety I wrote down was Golden Egg Hybrid (http://www.burpee.com/vegetables/squash/summer/squash-summer-golden-egg-hybrid-prod002741.html)

You can always train you squash out of the box! If it gets out of hand!

I would move the potatoes to the 12" square and put your summer squash with the corn three sisters style.

A few things I see on your drawing. The cucumbers and peas, don't they need something to climb on? You could swap them out with the lettuce. According to my research on companion planting beans and peas don't get along with onions and garlic. Somewhere on the forum I saw brussel sprouts that had grown three foot tall and fell over from the weight. Plus the three squares in the middle (brussel sprouts, marigolds, bush beans)are going to be very hard to reach when the garden is in full swing. I would put the flowers and garlic there. The corn box shows one corn per square, the book says you can put up to 4 in each square. My corn box is two squares smaller than yours, the way I'm going to do it is 3 corn and two pole beans per square. Beans can climb corn to help with wind and they will feed corn nitrogen.

How about cabbage? Do you like homemade cole slaw or braised cabbage? Try the mini Super Red 80 cabbage. Small managable heads, 1 per square. There's also all kinds of greens; collards, Bok Choi, arugula (peppery), mizuna (very mild), garden cress, other greens. They make fine additions to salads.
