Bees are back

Post  Grandpop on Mon 16 Apr - 15:46

Last year heavy rain and flooding along the Mississippi virtually wiped out our area bee population. Fruit trees and berries were also virtually wiped out.
Well, the bees have returned and they have been busy. Can't wait till June . . . .
(Pic came out crooked, but you get the idea)

Very Happy Look at all those berries! It's been a month since this post - how are things doing?

They are still plentiful and beginning to turn just a little. If I remember right it will be mid or late June before they will be ripe enough to be really sweet. But I won't wait that long . . . I'll be taste testing before then. Very Happy Very Happy
