Grafting Persimmon trees

Post  Don T on 4/21/2012, 2:28 pm

I have several persimmon trees on my land. Only one is female and the rest have not born fruit. These are wild persimmons and have been planted for wildlife.

Here is my question:
If I graft from my known female tree to one of the males, will the graft be female like the donor tree?
