Mixed packets, yes or no?

Post  cheyannarach on 4/22/2012, 9:00 pm

My pepper seedlings finally sprouted a few days ago but it is going to drive me nuts not knowing what they are! I bought a packet of bell pepper seeds and a packet of mixed hot peppers. It's the same with the lettuce, I have butterchunch seeds and a mixed leaf lettuce. I am thinking I would now rather bought non mixed so I would know what was what sooner. Although it will be fun to see them grow and be suprised.

Yeah, but then it's not so fun when they all turn out to be the same. Not a fan of mixed packets.

That's what I'm afraid of, not so much with the lettuce but the peppers. Live and learn right, lol. At least the lettuce tells me what kinds to expect, the peppers will be a complete suprise.
