Hello from Boston!

Post  SwampCatNana on 4/24/2012, 8:17 pm

flower
My name is Lee - my user name is SwampCatNana.
I live in the part of Boston known as Jamaica Plain. I'm retired from teaching(not really) and insurance. I've done a few other things as well but those are my major employments.
I've also travelled a good deal in the USA and Europe, and some of Central America. I LOVE travelling but can no longer afford to.
Crafting has been taking up most of my time, especially quilting. I may be getting a community garden plot in a month or so, and am preparing in case I do. We had gardens as far back as I can remember. My paternal grandparents were farmers, and I remember many a wonderful summer day spent on the farm.
Since I now live in an apartment I really miss having a garden. And I dying to try SFG!
OOps! I didn't realize I already intro'd myself last June!

Good resources for what? I go to Lowe's for my stuff. Also, Walmart has some goodies!
What are you looking for? sunny

Camprn - thanks for the welcome. I'm really looking forward to mining some great advice, suggestions, and ideas from the members. cheers
BTW - Camprn - I see you have the weather box in your signature. I have tried to get beyond the first direction in the thread on how to do this. It seems after I click the video, it plays the video but doesn't give me any way to click on Wunderground. com. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the welcome sfg4uKim!

Camprn - sorry to bother you again but how did you get all that info in your signature? I had to cut out my user name to get the rest to show up. It kept telling me my signature was too long.
