Carrot and trowel cursor.

Post  mtnjul on 4/25/2012, 12:54 pm

Is there any way to go back to my standard cursor? The cute little carrot and trowel make my eyes hurt.

Hi mtnjul and welcome to the forum! The cursor is a programmed feature and I don't believe there is a personal browser setting you can use yourself to overcome it, but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!). Maybe someone else will chime in?

I know the cursor confused me at first becuase I didn't understand why it kept changing between the trowel and carrot. Once I got used to it changing to a carrot whenever I crossed a hyperlink, it didn't bother me anymore. I hope you'll give it a chance and stick around and share your garden with us!

Hi gwennifer,
I found that if I open the forum using Opera browser, instead of Firefox, the carrot and trowel are gone.
Between my kids, job, pets and gardening I plan on hanging around as much as possible. Everyone seems so friendly here. Hi everyone!
Thank you gwennifer for the welcome and your help.

It really is a friendly bunch around here! I hang out here far more than I ought to...but then, I heard that a clean house is the sign of a boring person. Laughing

Well, whether it's a sign of being boring or misspending your life, we're not guilty of either! A little dirt on the floor, a pile of dishes or laundry that needs folding...it'll get done eventually. Meanwhile, we're concentrating on raising things, be it our babies or our plants (our other babies)...and hanging out here is learning about the plants. What a Face

A few years ago Mom gave me a plaque that says "I can't clean house and save the world at the same time." Smile
