Question on Cow manure

We bought some cow manure at a farm and they told us it was composted. The texture seemed so raw to me. It is not smelly which made me think it might be composted but the textures is still like pooh. Is this normal and will I be able to add it safely to my boxes?

Zomo ,

Pardon the pun , it's not very punny but " you'll need to dig deeper into the poo to find out what to do " ..

A picture paints a thousand words , can you post some pictures of the material .

Do you know if it was neat unadulterated cow muck without feed stuffs or hay & bedding in it ?

Has it been through a slurry tank and partly digested for methane production then the solids strained off & offered as composted cow dung .

Some had hay in it and some didn't. Does that make sense. I will get my hubby to take a pic with his phone. We had four bags of this in the car and it didn't stink. It is an organic farm and they put it in bags so I am not quite sure where they got it from. They did tell me it was composted so that is why I am not sure. Composted meaning it was there for awhile maybe?
I will post pictures.
