trellis planning

Post  dsmdeb on 5/5/2012, 11:09 am

Except for making the MM, I'm ready to set up my new boxes. I have two 2x4's made that will go in a narrow area between the driveway and the house. Since I plan to grow tomatoes, I guess I need to build a trellis. Would that be better to install before I put the 2x4 planter in place since I won't be able to walk around it? If there are there others out there with this situation, how difficult is it to take it down and put it back up each year?

Removing the trellis is easy the rebar should pull out of the ground without much problem I've moved One of mine from one location to another.

It's not hard.

I have both the rebar reinforced and the 1-1/2" pipe bracket configurations on my boxes, and they came off in less than 15 min (total) .... and I had trellis on every row/square
