Look out! Look out!
Jack Frost is about!|
He's after our fingers and toes;
And all through the night,
The happy little sprite
Is working where nobody knows.

He'll climb each tree,
So nimble is he,
His silvery powder he'll shake.
To windows he'll creep
And while we're asleep
Such wonderful pictures he'll make.

Across the grass
He'll merrily pass,
And change all its greenness to white.
Then home he will go
And laugh ho, ho ho!
What fun I have had in the night.

May is a month of frostsand if you believe some of the newspapers it will be frosty right into June this year as their crystal ball is much better than £millions worth of metrological survey and forecasting equipment.

Keep fleeces and spare bed sheets etc. handy don't just rely on the weather forecast for pin point accuracy of forecast of frost areas .
Any drop below 45 oF or 8 oC. for more than four hours can hurt many of your plants and knock them back a few weeks if not actually killing them . Cover before it gets too cold preferably before the sun starts to drop out the sky to try and keep most of the heat in the enclosure . Remove the cover if there is no frost in the morning shake it and air it dry then store till needed.
