New to sfg plus starting late

Post  nurseor on 5/6/2012, 12:37 pm

Hi,
I have set up the beds (2 4x12), soil is in now the question? I am having trouble deciding what to use as grids. What is the least expensive but workable? Thanks so much for any hints for a newbie.

What I am trying out is nylon stringline, you can get it at any hardware store for about $4.00 smackeroos. I have also seen people use shims pushed into the dirt there are pictures of that somewhere on here, and in the book Mel says you can even use venetian blinds. Heres a picture of my stringline.
