Post  jimpfamily on 5/10/2012, 2:46 pm

Our names are Patrice and Cassidy and we live in a townhouse community in Annapolis Maryland. Right now our garden consists of azaleas, hollyhock butterfly bushes, ground cover lilies, mums , hydrangea, annual begonias and King Kong strawberries. Cassidy is my daughter and we share the gardening duties Nice to meet you all .

That is one of my hollyhocks , that one is a runner from the original planted last year as is the one next to it and the little runners in the foreground, I fear one day I may have nothing but hollyhocks lol

Hi and welcome to the Forum. I'm your "neighbor" in Glen Burnie.

Are you going to start a Square Foot Garden? Have you had the chance to read the All New SFG book (2006) yet? You will LOVE it and the Forum!

Kim

I am looking into sfg and will be reading the book soon , I have to check with our HOA to see if any more exceptions for growing food beyond strawberries are available. They regulate that sort of thing heavily here. I am thinking about turning my back deck into a raised sgf of sorts as there is NO way it would ever be allowed to touch the ground. Thanks for the welcome :-) thanks
