USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Post  RoOsTeR on 5/11/2012, 6:40 pm

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is one of the nations largest food drives:
http://about.usps.com/news/national-releases/2012/pr12_048.htm
If you're interested, simply place non perishables where you pick up or receive your mail
They collected over 70 million pounds last year!

+1

My son, daughter and I will be joining my son's cub scout den tomorrow to help process and sort the incoming donations! So many of the local food banks are empty because of the state of the economy and even one can of food can make a difference!

Oh darn! I missed the mailman. I guess I'll have hubby drop some food off at the post office otw to drop my son off for a birthday party later. Hopefully they'll get it; the PO closed at noon, but the mailboxes outside are always collected in the afternoons.
