Hello Guest!
Welcome to the official Square Foot Gardening Forum.
There's lots to learn here by reading as a guest. However, if you become a member (it's free, ad free and spam-free) you'll have access to our large vermiculite databases, our seed exchange spreadsheets, Mel's Mix calculator, and many more members' pictures in the Gallery. Enjoy.

How To Help Keep This Forum At Its Best

Post  boffer on 4/9/2010, 5:38 pm

On 4/7/2010, we added clarifying points to the Terms of Service (TOS) that everyone agrees to when they register to become a member of the SFG Forum. We know that no one reads the small print in TOS's, so we are making clear what our priorities are. We feel they are simple, concise, and reasonable, and within every member's ability to comply.

I'm sure you write your posts with the best intentions. But if you take a few seconds to review your post before you hit the send button, you can often avoid awkward phrasing and words that infer unintended meanings.

This is the new addition to the default TOS that is now in use:

The Terms of Service can be found in it's entirety here:

May all your gardening dreams come true.

To see it, you have to log out first otherwise it redirects to the front page.  Once I logged out I was able to see it just fine  Very Happy

Audrey, try clearing your forum cookies; You can find that at the bottom right of the front page. Hopefully that may fix the problem.

In case anyone else is having trouble reading them, I have copied the TOS below.

Please read this part:

This is a family friendly forum. Always has been, always will be. Please post accordingly.

This forum is dedicated to the purpose of sharing, teaching, encouraging, and supporting fellow Square Foot Gardeners in their gardening endeavors. This forum uses the ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING book written by Mel Bartholomew, copyright 2006 and 2013, as it's guide in this purpose. The original SFG method is no longer supported.

The founder of the forum worked hard to create an atmosphere that is friendly, fun, supportive, and positive. It is the administrator's responsibility to maintain that atmosphere in a manner consistent with current board management practices, including revocation of posting privileges. Please do your best to support that philosophy.

We have an off-topic forum for conversations that aren't SFG specific. However, as with most forums, we demand that the topics of politics, religion, and others that invariably lead to heated arguments, not be discussed.

No soliciting.

We encourage and value your participation, and ask that you respect our guidelines.
