Returning to the Fold in Wisconsin

Post  capsounddad on 4/9/2010, 9:04 pm

A big hello to everyone in the SFG world. My name is Rick. I am recently returned to Southeast Wisconsin after living for a short time in Colorado. I've been busy the past few years helping my wife fight ovarian cancer. She is currently in remission for the second time and after many difficult discussions I am being urged to return to something that is both cathartic and a deep need for me personally. I not only believe in the method but the mission of the Square Foot Gardening Foundation. I hope to visit all forums regularly as I will become re-certified as a teacher/presenter shortly and need to get caught up on everything that is happening.

Welcome. I've spent many a wonderful time at the DeKoven Center in Racine, Wisconsin. You have lovely growing weather there.

Hello Rick,

Welcome to the new Forums.

Were you active on the old forum? I was there for awhile toward the end of the summer.

We're glad you've come back and are starting your gardening again. I have a daughter in Wheatland, WI near Burlington. We visit there often.

Wisconsin is in the Northern & Central Midwest Regional Forum. Are you in Zone 4? I hope you visit and post often in our forum.

Be sure to post lots of pictures.
