Elevation

Post  Kelejan on 5/29/2012, 3:21 pm

I just received a bunch of local maps today to give to tourists and other visitors to our small city, and I notice that the elevation is marked as 433 metres (1400 feet).

Where I last lived in England, the elevation was 69 feet.

Now I feel dizzy.

How high are you?

So that's why your area is called Lower South. Is there an Upper South?

Elevation

Post  jfkelly001 on 6/22/2012, 5:28 am

When I was checking the elevation for the city of Tulsa, it was from 694 to 1024, depending where you was. That surprised me, because it looks flat to me.
according to my smart phone, my garden is at 794 feet

Hmm must be your location because I use that app for geocaching and have found it very accurate. Most times within feet or less.
