Hi all! Hope you're enjoying this 4th of July Smile

My squash and cucumber have sprouted and each are already sporting an adult leaf amongst the sprouting leaves. Is it time for me to snip the weakest ( Sad )?

Also, my beet sprouts are about two inches high now. I'm a little concerned because some of them have fallen over. Besides that, should I start snipping the weakest or do I need to wait for adult leaves?

The beets I just pull out when thinning and use as greens in salad for the next meal. I personally don't like to use scissors'garden shears because I always end up cutting more than I intend to.
