New from South Louisiana

Post  scott on 3/6/2010, 12:02 am

I'm starting my square foot garden tomorrow! No more rows for me; tired of growing weeds, and just a few vegetables. I am going to start small, with two boxes and add on later in the spring as I adjust to my new garden. I am looking forward to reading about everyone's garden success this spring. Haven't seen any post from my home State of Louisiana, anyone out there?

Hi Scott!

Glad you joined us on the new SFG forum!
Be sure to take lots of pictures to share with us.
Have you planed out what crops you will be growing in your new SFG's?

I have laid out the garden on graph paper giving me an idea of how many boxes can fit into the space i currently have. On what crops to plant, we plant the vegetables by the meals we like to eat. I have all the crops we need to grow on a planting chart. I will update with pictures, and my son and I are going to video the spring growing season.
