Illegal Front Yard Garden: Canadian Couple's Kitchen Garden Targeted By Authorities

Here in the UK most bye laws are applicable only to a local authority area & can be challenged once a year on the anniversary of the enactment or at a time just before the anniversdary and a new proposal put forth recommending the removal of the original one ..

It just takes a group of like minded people to start and keep the ball rolling to garner enough noise in the right ears , sufficient volume and enough voters to shove hard it to the councillors etc .

Till recently I have been heavily involved in trying to get some commonsense into decisions about protection of the local sea areas wrt conservation not preservation at all costs. Eventually the gentle momentum we started has be come a roar that none of the politicians want to ever hear again . Things are now being set up in a much more humane and not so draconian way as to totally stop all forms of fish taking from large areas of the coastal waters..
