Can we put 'unused' coffee in the compost bin?

Post  cpl100 on 8/8/2012, 3:52 pm

I found a box of expired coffee in my garage. Can I just put it like that into the compost bin or does it have to be brewed first (which would be a waste)? Also, I have read that coffee is good to be spread around plants...so, same question about it not have already been 'used'.

Thanks.

Yes, you can add the coffee to the compost pile.
