Let's assume a year-round growing season, where an eggplant will never die off because of frost (like I have here). At what stage and how much should I prune the plants. They're over two feet tall now, and I'm thinking there's appoint at which they should be pruned.

I wish I knew because mine are getting rather overwhelming and we still have about 4 months to go before we're likely to get a frost. Mine are 4 feet tall and have branches just as wide.
