Nylon trellis: reuse or dump?

Post  Roseinarosecity on 9/11/2012, 6:33 pm

This is the first year I grew my tomatoes on the nylon trellis just like in the ANSFG book. It turned out great. I am getting ready to clear out the tomatoes, but should I do anything to the trellis before I plant peas or favas? Should I be worried about diseases being transferred over to the next season's crop from the trellis? The nylon trellis is tied to the frame at each square.

Nothing to worry about (unless you had some awful disease problem, very little should go from tomatoes to cucumbers anyways), enjoy not having to do that little bit of work this fall. Happy planting.
