today's the big day!

Post  rowena___. on 9/30/2012, 11:00 am

after 8 weeks of non-stop activity, today is the grand opening of our new home studio. we are almost ready. LOL there are some cosmetic things that need to be addressed but for all intents and purposes, the place is ready to roll. i'm overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure about what's next, but at least this part is done.

we have a ribbon cutting this afternoon at 2pm, then guests will get to tour the space and sign up for classes. after that, i'll be listing with a company called the skillery, which is a community class broker here in nashville.

my little girl has already started prepping for the festivities--she has a crown and a pageant banner all laid out. Smile i'm finishing some bread and jam, and we'll have a cake because this is the weekend that we traditionally celebrate both her birthday and rudi's.

and THEN, hopefully, i'll be more fully present here on the forum. or, if things go really well, i'll be so busy that i'll be only fully half-present. Smile

thank you all for your patience and good wishes! i'll post pictures this evening or tomorrow.
