Illustrations missing from book

Post  greenhome on 10/11/2012, 6:10 pm

Pages 77 to 80 of the book has a long discussion of supports, etc., but not a single illustration.

Are those pictures somewhere on the website maybe? i can't visualize the directions.

Thank you.

The book doesn't have any illustrations on those pages. Not in mine anyway.

Greenhome: Mel has written a new book to go along with the "All New SFG" book. It is at the printers as we speak. Perhaps illustrations will be included in it.

  Bless, Ward and Mary.

Yes, the book has lots of pictures, just not any about the items that I mentioned.

Directly across the page from 77 (76) is an example of a support (trellis).
I don't know that the illustrations were ever there to be omitted.

We have lot's of information on different types of supports here on the forum. There's a great search feature located at the bottom of the Latest Topics list.
I just entered "supports" and got the following results:

The illustrations are not missing in my copy of the book, it's just that the other supports he talks about are not illustrated at all.

But that's okay, I will just look upon it as a challenge and invent my own. I love inventing stuff and I have all winter to do it!

Or you could look at the links I supplied you with above...

I'm making eyes at the all metal bunk bed set in the spare room .. imagine two 3 foot wide by 6 foot 6 all metal ladder frames with a horizontal rung every 8 inches or so across them . We can either use them as single frames or as an inverted V and grow up from either side or get my ladder out and pick beans at 13 feeet up in the sky . Wink
