It's December and my lettuce and spinach are being attacked. The pests match a picture of a cucumber beetle (yellow wings with black spots). They are floating in on the wind. It's 78 degrees today but is this normal? It's December! A few days ago it got down to 33 degrees, now the low is above 50. I see them not just in the garden, but all over. I have been vacuuming them off the plants with a rechargeable car vac. I had to put the floating cover back on (Agribon 17), but they seem to also land on the outside and some crawl in. Is this normal?
