DFM seeds available

Post  Pollinator on 12/30/2012, 2:52 pm

I have a lot of dwarf French marigold seeds, probably enough to supply a packet to 25 people or more. Once you grow them, you'll have seed for the future as well. In the South, they reseed themselves quite well, too.

I've found these to give almost perfect protection from squash bugs and cucumber beetles, when interplanted with your veggies. They also suppress caterpillars, like the tomato hornworm. The only pests I have had trouble with (marigolds didn't seem to help at all) were pickleworm and squash borers.

You can send me an SASE for a packet.
