Building in Florida

Post  linzbass on 1/5/2013, 2:46 pm

I just started my garden. I can't wait for the seeds to sprout! I've been dreaming of this garden since we moved here in May. All that we have left to do is the grid and the trellis net. I'm beyond excited! I used this forum a lot to help me build my MM, so thanks for all the input.

I wanted to start the seeds before we made the MM so I just bought a kit. Wink

Thanks! We had a dying tree in the backyard. Or else I am too much of a tree hugger to ever promote doing this just for looks. My DH did a lot of extra work and make me these slices. I just filled in the cracks with the sawdust. I love how it turned out.

glad you\'re here linbass, I think you are going to be very successful and we look forward to seeing your garden grow. Neat way to use your tree, it looks very nice and you have a very good DH to do all that work in slicing the tree.
Are the pictures very recent, like now!? Looking out at my beds I can't see them because of the snow and it will be another couple of months before I see anything and that is if we have an early spring.

Welcome from the cold, snowy state of Maine. You'll have your crops growing pretty quick now in Fla. Your garden beds are looking might fine. Good luck.
