Weather for the Garden

so will we have good weather to grow this year i hope so as want to see lots growing. Has anyone got any good plans this year ??? regards Dave & Kim

Not to be a "negative Nancy", but I fear my area is in for another very hot summer. I'm hoping to use this to my advantage and have a bit earlier of a spring and later fall crop. Of course, I expect the bugs will be at least as bad as last year as well since we've had a fairly mild winter too. Doubling up on the rain barrells and mulch! Cool

I've read a few articles suggesting that this winter in my area will be significantly more "interesting" (snow, ice, freezes) than recently, though the forecast for this weekend in the 70s (ºF) has me questioning that.

According to AccuWeather (and I admit that they're usually wrong for my area), much of the country is about to experience exceptionally cold temperatures because of a relatively rare Arctic phenomenon that is about to cause a dam of frigid air to spread into the United States. What a Face Please check out United States weather on that site, just to be informed.

If this forecast is incorrect, we can all breathe a sigh of relief!

I don't think they are very accurate if I read it correctly. We are getting more snow, this storm should give us 4-6". It is definitely colder this Winter than last Winter and we have had more snow.
