New England (Maine in my case) vermiculite

Post  pipefish on 2/22/2013, 9:19 pm

For anyone starting like me:

Griffin Greenhouse Supplies has coarse vermiculite for $36.92 for 6 cu ft. And 3.8 cu ft bales of horticultural peat moss for $13.45. The good news is they ship it for free to the place nearest you and you can pick it up. They also have delivery routes that can deliver for $30-45 if you're on it.

Hope this helps someone...

I looked in the link and found the Virginia vermiculite place .. tried to copy the details but my browser prevents it .
It could be a good way for several of you getting together and buying a dozen of so bags if your close to each other say 50 odd miles .
