Just wanted to say hi!

Post  Maya Papaya on 4/18/2010, 1:45 pm

Hello all fellow SFG's! My name is Maya and this is my first time around. This site rocks! Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I just finished the book and I'm going to be installing beds this week. I'm a raw vegan and live in the SF bay area and eat lots of fruits and veggies so I'm really looking forward to a bountiful harvest this year! Also, I bought a Trovita orange tree yesterday that I'm going to plant. Thought about just keeping on my patio and house, but just as I'm writing this, I got a wild hair about thinking of planting it in a raised bed...hmm.

Anyway, I'm a little late with introductions, but as they say: "Better late than never."

Howdy Square Foot Gardeners!

Maya Very Happy

Welcome to SFG and the Forum Maya. Best of luck with your garden. Please post some pics once you get it all set up. We love to see what others have done as it makes it much easier to steal their ideas. ...uh, I mean, "learn from them" yeah, that's it. Very Happy

Nice to see your post! I am also in the SF Bay area -- in Danville. I would love to find out more about your garden and what you are planting and how it works out for you. What are you growing?

This is my first year with a SFG and am hoping for a bountiful harvest.
