Garden Tracking

Post  thepennas on 3/5/2013, 2:14 pm

Do you have a program for my PC that you would recommend for tracking fertilization times, planting times, planting information, and so forth?

There may be PC programs and there are certainly web-based applications, some free and some fee-based. But for just dates, it might be easier and cheaper to just do a simple spreadsheet based on info from online planting guides. You will need to know your average last frost date. Some online planting calculators are the one at Johnny's Seeds here and the Lzay Gardener's chart at yougrowgirl here. These calculators will give you seed starting and planting dates for each type of veggie that you can incorporate into your own plan. I keep mine on Google Drive so I can access it from anywhere. You can see my plan for 2013 here.
