Hello everyone!

Post  kaygregory on 3/9/2013, 5:07 pm

I'm currently taking the SFG certification course online with Belinda. I've been an urban gardener (NYC, Boston, and Montreal) for most of my life until a few years ago when I moved to Amherst, Massachusetts. Now I actually have a small yard, but I still love to garden in containers. Last year, my husband and I built 2 square foot gardens and they produced vegetables that we enjoyed all season! I have never eaten such delicious kale and swiss chard in my life!
Anyway, I have a lot to learn so I'm looking forward to learning from all of you as I go.
Happy (almost) Spring!
~kay

Welcome to the site Kay nice to see a newcomer who has started square foot gardening . It's even better to see someone who is going to be following Mel's system right from the beginning .
Please do take lots of pictures , post them on site . Let us all know how you get on and what you discover ( good or bad ) about this style of gardening.

Hi Neighbor! glad you\'re here

I love Amherst...it's so beautiful! You must be under a lot of snow right about now, ey?

Yes, we'd LOVE to see photos of you 2 SFG's when possible. Are you starting seeds yet? If so, what?
