Hello from Groton, MA

Post  ddemeo on 3/11/2013, 1:47 pm

Hi all! I'm a novice gardener. I tried tomatoes in the ground once. We got so much rain that year I couldn't keep the blight away. Apparently even people who knew what they were doing had trouble that year.

Three years later I'm trying again, this time using SFG! I'll also be doing lots of herbs (which I've had success with in the past), strawberries (also had success), and - for the first time - eggplant and broccoli.

I've had no luck finding Mel's Mix sold around here, but in my hunting I've found many compost sources. So looks like I'll be making my own!

Looks perfect to me. glad you\'re here to the forum!

If you put 'blight' in the search box on the right, I believe there is help for that but I can't remember what it is. I haven't had it....yet. Rolling Eyes
