I haven't researched this enough but I thought I would ask a quick question. Once you plant seedlings indoors and they sprout, do you then need either enough sunlight coming in through a window to continue growth or grow lights until it is time to start putting the plants outside? jjc

Yes. There are multiple back threads about lights, grow stations and starting seeds. Good luck.
