Does this Spinach and Lettuce look like they will make it to the garden?

Post  lindabateslawson on 3/26/2013, 4:55 pm

Newbie here and I just got done transplanting some spinach and lettuce from small jiffy pots to these larger 3" pots. The roots were coming out of the small peat pots. Not sure if I waited too long or not. They seem kind of droopy but am hoping they will pop up soon? Or is this normal? Any advice welcome. Just hope they live long enough to get out in the garden.

I can't see any pictures but when you transplant, they sometimes droop a bit before they get energetic again. Wait and see.

edited to add: Welcome glad you\'re here newbie.

Hmmm, wonder why you're not seeing the pics? Does anyone else see them? Let me see if I can post them again from a different spot.

I see your new pics just fine.
You should be OK with them. Mine sort of laid sideways and drooped a bit on transplanting, but they are fine now once they were back under the lights for a day or two.
