Yesterday after checking the week ahead forcast I planted kale and broccoli. I also planted sno peas, mustard and spinich. It was supposed to get down to 45 deg. last night so I did not cover the new plants. This morning my outdoor readings were 39 and 38 degrees. When it got a little light I went out and read the soil temp. with an IR therm. The temp. was 24.6 degrees in one bed and 25.8 in the other. The plants are still standing but I wonder if they will survive.

John,Did you plant seeds or plants? I think those wee plants will be fine, they are cold tolerant. If you planted seeds, certainly all is well.
