compost sources for central illinois

Post  whompy on 4/7/2013, 10:44 am

I live in Springfield, Illinois, and am trying to find five different kinds of compost for my first batch of mel's mix. I've looked all over, and am not having much luck. Anyone in the area have any advice or sources they'd like to share? Thanks!

Chicago Area

Post  Chi-Town Deadhead on 4/7/2013, 11:23 am

Hey Whompy,

I'm north of Chicago and having a heck of a time too. I wish I could help but you are too far south of me. I am actually putting the same thread for the Chicago area above yours.

Good luck
