Down here in South Texas we have this too. A week or so ago it was freezing. This week supposed to hit 90 + Rolling Eyes

Same here in Georgia. But 80's not 90's. Wonder if my broccoli will survive and produce in these temps?

Boy that is drastic!

Yolos, try to get your broccoli covered with shade cloth and keep your beds watered! It will be tricky but you may be able to get some broccoli. Watch it carefully to catch it before it starts to flower.

Thanks Triciasgarden. I have the broccoli covered with tulle now. I will have to add some shade cloth on hot days.

Yeah, it's been strange going from highs in the 40's to upper 80's in the span of just a few days. But the warm weather has been great for germinating my lettuce, peas, and radishes. Just hope it cools down soon!

We broke a record here today with a high of 89. The old record was 85 set back in 1991. I"m glad we will be getting back to normal by Friday! clap

I lost about 2 dozen seedlings yesterday. I TOTALLY forgot about them when we left for a day trip to DC and the poor darlings were FRIED when we got back.

Sad RIP little friends.
