I'm so happy!

Post  herblover on 5/20/2013, 2:34 pm

Hubby and friend got my new box and cover made on Saturday! It looks so fresh and shiny! Mixed my soil and planted yesterday. I will detail out the list later but I am happy, happy!

Herblover. Did you build, fill and plant your box in the same day? I did mine on Sunday and thought I would have to let the compost settle Embarassed

No, they built the box on Sat and I did the mixing and planting on Sun. I had already bought the peatmoss, vermiculite and compost to which I added some homemade compost to get a good mix. I also always use an organic fertilizer because even my homemade compost tends to be somewhat lacking.
