Creatures, Plagues, and Apocalyptic Problems

Post  jamesindetroit on 5/29/2013, 5:27 am

Probably not a great source for organic solutions to pest or problems, and more relevant to Midwestern pests, this presentation is a nice introduction to pests and other plant problems.

Warning: it's about 2 hours long. If you are a Michigan Master Gardener, I believe it is also worth credit hours...

Camp,  funny post

Yes, we get less than 10 inches but it can be miserable, windy and cold when you have to be outdoors!  Also, 1/2" of snow / 10 years, 1/4" of hail / year, and dust devils now and then.  Two hours away are snow ski slopes or old Redwood forests, 2 1/2 hours the Pacific Coast and AVT sand dunes.

LOL, I know, it was more of an ironic rhetorical question, considering the thread title. Very Happy  My grandparents lived for years in Fresno. I remember, when I was very small, going to their retreat at Huntington lake.

OM Goodness!  I had the High Sierra district for 5 years.  Do you remember the name of the group of homes?  I'm curious what their last name was.  Would I have met any relatives up there? Small world.
